Debbie
Riddy & Debbie Smyth first met in March 2000 and they discussed the
need for a recruitment agency in the area, one that catered for Everyday
people looking for Everyday jobs and from this sentiment Everyday
Recruitment Agency was born. A New ERA in recruitment began on 17 May
2000 at 136 High Street Selsey West Sussex.

Having both
experienced agencies as clients within their previous fields and also as
employee’s they realised there was a need for a more friendlier, approachable
personal quality service which has formed the underlying ethos of ERA.

From
the start the business floated through the door and within a year we had
grown so well that they decided to open another branch in Bognor Regis which
opened on the 17 September 2001 from there it snowballed onto the next office
in Littlehampton which opened in November 2002 and then on to Worthing
opening in June 2004.

During
all of this growth and expansion we realised our primary market was healthcare
and we aimed towards this market firstly by registering all our offices with CSCI
to provide domiciliary care and nurses and secondly by opening our own healthcare
training centre in February 2003 not only to train our own staff but to outsource our
training facilities to all care providers in the community.

ERA Healthcare has gained an excellent reputation for supplying quality trained and sensitive
and above all caring staff to the NHS, Councils and Private sector. To grow the business
nationally the two Debbie's have decided to franchise the ERA Healthcare concept,
logo and the experience and the excellent reputation they have gained since they started.
This is available to special individuals who are not only
professional and caring but will take the spirit and values of ERA Healthcare forward in a
positive, professional and caring way.
